We welcome the opportunity to fully introduce you to Hope Church. At Starting Point, you will discover our core values, ministries and the next steps you can take to become more connected to Hope Church. If you would like to learn more and take the next step, please sign up to attend our next "Starting Point" class. This 90 minute class, taught by our Lead Pastor, Frank Bernat, will tell you more about Hope and identify further steps you can take on the path from "Life to Living". You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the church and we will provide lunch for you and your family. Free childcare for infants through 5th grade is provided.
Upon conclusion of the class you will be given the opportunity to join Hope Church as a member. Depending on your background and church experience, there are several different paths to membership at Hope:
Profession of Faith
This is the initial entrance into membership in the church, when you profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and have been baptized or will be baptized.
Reaffirmation of Faith
This is for those who are baptized Christians and are renewing their initial profession of faith after a period of inactivity or not being active in a church family.
Transfer of Membership
This is when you are coming to us from another United Methodist Church or a Christian church of another denomination. We recognize Baptism from all other Christian churches.
