At Hope we want you to rest easy in one of our weekend services while we take care of your baby. From our friendly, trained nursery staff to our family lounge, you will see that we have the family in mind at Hope. To ensure the best day for you and your baby we have provided some nursery tips:

1. Two or three disposable diapers (no cloth diapers, please).
2. Pacifier or other security item.
3. A change of clothes.
4. A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water. (This is a good practice even for mothers who nurse.)
5. We provide snacks for your children once they are crawling age. If your child has an allergy, please inform the leader when you check in your child.

Once your child is checked in, simply wave a quick good-bye and join the Worship Celebration. It is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent, but the separation becomes easier over time. Our leaders will immediately try to engage your child’s interest in a toy or activity and give reassurance of your return. If your child continues to cry, we will page you.

If you are paged, a member of the Host Team will direct you to the Family Room. In this room created especially for parents with small children, you will be able to spend time with your child and continue to participate in the Worship Celebration via closed-circuit television.

If you have any questions about our care for preschool-aged children, please contact Alisa Hagemann, Children’s Ministry Coordinator at 770-505-8720 or at alisa@placeofhope.org.
