Growth Groups at Hope Church
 
Groups are integral to all we do at Hope Church.  As our church grows larger on Sunday, we must be sure to create environments where we can grow smaller during the week.  At Hope Church, we encourage everyone to be involved in a small group on a weekly basis.  Growth Groups are made up of 12-15 people who agree to meet together each week for Bible study, encouragement, and spiritual growth.  There are many groups to choose from in different locations across Paulding County.  We have at least one group meeting almost every day of the week!  Groups are a great way to meet new friends, make connections, grow in your relationship with God, and make a difference in the lives of others.

Our groups follow the school calendar and are offered in the context of three different semesters:

Fall:  From September through November, groups participate in our church-wide growth campaign.  During this semester, every small group focuses on the same topic to allow for an accelerated time of spiritual growth for the entire church.  Weekly meetings focus on the same topic as messages on Sunday and individual readings and devotions throughout the week.  This integrated approach makes this the perfect time to join a group!  Sign-ups begin in August, and different meeting times and locations are offered throughout the week. 
 
Winter:  From January through March, groups are offered on a topical basis.  This allows you to look through the various group offerings and choose the topic that you like the most and best fits into your schedule. Topics range from selected books of the Bible to marriage enrichment groups and parenting groups. Sign-ups begin in December. Different group times and locations are offered throughout the week.

Spring: In April and May, topical groups are offered as well.  Sign-ups begin in April. 
 
We encourage everyone to try different groups to meet new people and develop new friendships. If you find a group that really fits you, stick with it! If you try a group that's not your style, try another group next semester.  We believe that life is a team sport - best done together!
 
Childcare is free for groups that meet at the church on Sunday afternoons, and costs are no more than $3 per child in the other groups.
